Hijri Calendar
Today's Hijri date, the moon, and a converter
Which calendar
Dates follow the Umm al-Qura calendar, the one used in Saudi Arabia. Your local mosque may start a month a day earlier or later after sighting the moon. Use Match your mosque to move every date by a day.
The moon pictures
Each picture is the real moon in the evening sky for that day, as seen from the UK. Swipe or use the arrows to watch it change through the month. Nothing you choose is sent to The Maktab App.
